Who can participate

Everyone who is healthy and fulfills the specifications shown in the tour descriptions may participate. If you have medical concerns, please let us know well before departure. The guide has the right to prohibit any rider from continuing, at any time during the tour, if he/she feels the tour member is physically incapable and/or if the continued participation will be detrimental to the individual involved or to the group. Refunds are not given under such circumstances.

Reservation

Reservations must be made by e-mail, and will be validated for both parties by our confirmation. To make a booking definite, we ask a 20% non-refundable deposit.

Cancellation and Refund

Cancellation of a confirmed booking always entails loss of the down payment, which is 20% of the total trip cost.

Thereafter the following applies:
• Cancellations 40 -31 days ahead of the date : 50% of total fare
• Cancellations 30 - 7 days ahead of the date: 70% of total fare
• Cancellations 7 - 0 days ahead of the date: 90% of total fare

You have the right to pass your place to another adequate person. In this case we charge no additional fees.

Whenever possible we accept date changes up to 30 days before the program starts under the following conditions:
Date transfers within the same season ( September to May)  will be charged a fee of 100,-€.
Date transfers to the following season will be charged a fee of 150,-€. In case the substiture tour would have a different price than the originally booked tour, the then present price applies.

For half day rides: you can change the date of your ride prior two days of the reserved date to any other date available at no cost.

If there are conditions that make it impossible for us to guarantee a tour's safety, we may in any moment cancel or end the tour. In this case we refund a %, in case of complete canceling a 100% refund will apply.

We recommend that you buy travel insurance to safeguard against cancellation and curtailment.

Minimum of participants

The tours can only take place with a set minimum of participants. In case of fewer participants we have the right to cancel a tour up to 14 days before departure. In such a case you will be given full refund of the amount paid. We will not be responsible for any additional expenses.

Insurance and medical care

You must accept full responsibility for insurance up to the limits you deem necessary. This insurance must cover personal accidents. When obtaining travel insurance, you should inform the insurer of the type of travel to be undertaken. Due to the fact that hospital facilities for serious problems are often unavailable, and evacuation can be prolonged, difficult, and expensive, it is necessary that we assume no liability regarding provision of medical care at any time during the trip. Please read the Waiver declaration which is part of the general terms and agreement we will ask you to sign .

On the tour

As with every outdoor activity, our treks are weather dependent. Reasonable changes may be made to the itinerary due to weather conditions or if a change is judged to be in the best interest and well-being of all participants.
